Choosing a hearing healthcare professional is one of the most important decisions a hearing impaired person can make. Since a hearing aid cannot be prescribed like eye glasses, proper hearing aid recommendation and fitting is highly dependent on the judgment and skill of the professional selecting the instrument. Our audiologists test your hearing, select and dispense the hearing instruments best suited to meet your needs, in additon to providing support, counseling, and service of the hearing system for many years. We are concerned about each unique person and we make hearing solution recommendations to fit your lifestyle and personal needs.

Protecting your hearing is critical. Noise-induced hearing loss is irreversible. Common causes of noise-induced hearing loss include exposure to occupational noise, listening to loud music as a musician or music lover, and gunfire while hunting or target shooting. We can help you protect your hearing from further deterioration through education about what affects your hearing, as well as the proper use and care of hearing protection devices.

We also have the experience and necessary equipment to remove ear wax effectively and comfortably, through a variety of safe methods. If ear wax is too deep to remove, we will refer you to a physician or otolaryngologist. We also have close relationships with physicians and otolaryngologists in the area, and keep in frequent contact with your doctors to notify them of changes in your hearing, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), balance, and any other ear-related concern. Our Doctors of Audiology take pride in their role as ancillary members of your healthcare team!
